Just as the Savagnin fruit for the 2026 Gamburra is picked and starting its path to bottle, we are releasing the 2025 vintage of our Gamburra white Ancestral sparkling. It was 2005 that was my first vintage in the Canberra District, so ticking around to 2025 felt like a milestone. The Gamburra for 2025 continues to blend the line and drive of Tumbarumba Chardonnay with the aromatics and fruit weight of Savagnin grown at Murrumbateman in the Canberra District. Our ninth release of this white Ancestral sparkling and we are quite pleased with it. Will work as an aperitif standing alone but very versatile with food. Take it to the table with a baguette, butter and top quality tinned achovies. Or steamed fish in a Cantonese vibe. Enjoy.
